Creeting St Mary CEVAP School "They shall soar on eagles' wings"

Our School

Creeting St Mary Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School was built in 1871 for 'the children of the parish'. Since then three classrooms and a small group room have been added. The school can accommodate up to 84 pupils, usually 12 per year group, from Reception to Year 6.

In 2012 a new classroom was begun as the school expanded to take pupils up to Year 6. During the digging of the foundations a time capsule was discovered. This was buried 10 years before, in 2002, when the second classroom was built. The children put together a new time capsule which was be buried under the new room. Who knows when that may be found?

Children from Creeting St Mary School can move at the end of Year 6 to Debenham High School as we have now joined the Debenham Pyramid of schools. The other primary schools in this pyramid are Sir Robert Hitcham's Debenham, Stonham Aspal CEVAP, Helmingham CP, Wetheringsett CEVCP, Earl Soham CP and Bedfield CEVCP. Alternative secondary schools nearby are Stowmarket High School, Stowupland High School and Claydon High School.
